Description: The Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (LECC) for the Middle District of Alabama (MDAL) is again holding a district conference and awards banquet! Registration is open to all law enforcement in the MDAL. Please note that this conference is separate from the Statewide LECC Conference in Orange Beach and in no way affects that event.
The Conference will be held Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26, 2024. The registration fee is $100. This includes 8 hours of training, dinner Thursday night, and breakfast Friday morning. Law enforcement awards will be presented during the Thursday night dinner.
Planned topics/presentations include*:
1. Resilience, Sacrifice, Courage, and Service - Lessons in Leadership by Chuck Rosenberg: Chuck Rosenberg formally served as Acting Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration from 2015 to 2017. He also formerly served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia and for the Southern District of Texas. He was also a senior FBI official on the staff of two FBI Directors, a Counselor to the Attorney General, the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Attorney General, and an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia in Norfolk and Alexandria. He is now a frequent commentator for NBC and MSNBC.

There will be no refunds after April 18, 2024. The LECC cannot accept credit cards.

The host hotel for this event is the Hotel at Auburn University at 241 South College Street, in Auburn, Alabama. Each individual attendee is responsible for making his/her own lodging reservations. The conference hotel rate is $98.00 plus tax and parking fees.
