For adults who lack familiarity with computers, life in the modern age can be a challenge. That's because technology is involved in almost every aspect of our lives: we need it for work, school, keeping in touch, day-to-day task management, remote education, and online shopping. But today's challenges for older adults are even more personal. It involves understanding digital lifestyle and being safe from online fraud, especially financial fraud. Topics in the course include: computer basics; the internet, cloud services, and the World Wide Web; computer security and privacy; digital lifestyles; financial fraud (committed by strangers or exploitation by relatives and caregivers).
