This training is for law enforcement professionals, prosecutors, victim service providers, as well as nurses, hotel personnel, and education professionals who have a legitimate interest in combatting human trafficking.
The purpose of the training is to bring together federal, state, and local law enforcement officials, prosecutors, and victim service providers, to learn about and discuss collaborative investigations, victim services, and prosecutions.
Expected topics include*: U.S. Attorney’s Office updates from the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts; a presentation on open-source intelligence gathering; and a human trafficking case study from the Northern District involving victim services, as well as investigation and prosecution issues.
