Criminal Behavior Analysis
Description: Since the 1980s, law enforcement officers have been trained in techniques of profiling cases of personal violence. While it takes years of experience and study to master all the profiling techniques, there are some basic concepts that can be quickly learned and applied with a surprising level of accuracy.
In this one-day class officers will examine case studies of several serial offenders:
- Identifying some potential personality characteristics of the offender based on the crime scene
- Review the profiling process associated with investigating violent crimes
- Discuss crime scene analysis
- Analyze criminal behavior of selected violent crimes
- Profile victim demographics
Schedule: Registration check-in starts at 8:30 AM. The training will meet from 9:00 AM. to 4:00 PM, including a lunch break.
Cost: FREE for law enforcement officers
