How do I create a new user account?

In order to register for courses online, you must have an account with AUM English as a Second Language. Creating an account also gives you online access to view your registration history, change your address and more.

You can go to our Sign up page to create a new account.

Note: you must have an email address to set up an account with us.

How do I register for a course?

To register for a course:

  1. Look Up Course - look up the course you want to enroll in on our Course Listing page.
  2. Add to Cart - click the Enroll Yourself button to start the registration process.
  3. Logon - log on to the system. Note: if you're already logged on, this step will be skipped.
  4. Select Course Options - select the course fee options (i.e. select registration fee, add optional fees), and enter additional information requested, if any (i.e. t-shirt size, etc.).
  5. Add More Courses - if you are enrolling in other courses, click the Enroll in Another Course button and repeat steps 1, 2, and 4. Otherwise, continue to step 6.
  6. Proceed to Checkout - once you have added all the desired courses to your Enrollment Cart, click the Proceed to Checkout button to continue the registration process.
  7. Make Payment - edit your personal information if necessary then click the Payment Service button to continue on to our Payment Service to make your payment.
  8. Registration Confirmed - when you are finished with the payment process, the Transaction Completed page is displayed notifying you that you are enrolled in the course(s). A confirmation email with the registration specifics is also sent to your email address. At this time, you can safely log off the system.

Which methods of payment do you accept online?

Our online registration system accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you need to pay by Check or Cash, please visit the ESL Office in the AUM Library Tower, 7th Floor.

What is the cancellation policy if I am unable to attend?

Intensive and Communicative English Classes

Refunds of tuition and fees are based on the date you formally drop a course. You will be eligible for a full refund of all tuition and fees, minus an administration fee, if you drop a course before the first day of class. Please note that if you pay for an ESL class but do not ever attend, you are not exempt from this policy. For all refunds, regardless of circumstance, there will be a $25 administrative fee.

To qualify for a full or partial refund of tuition and fees, you must formally drop a course by stopping by the ESL office and filling out a Request to Withdraw from ESL Course.

If we cancel a course, you will be notified and receive a full refund. Failure to attend does not constitute a cancellation.

The amount that can be refunded is determined by the following schedule:

IEP Classes (day classes)

Refund Amount Funds Time Student Drops or Resigns
100% Tuition and Fees Before the first day of the term
80% Tuition Only From the 1st to the 2nd day of the term
0% From the 3rd day to the end of the term

Communicative English Classes (night classes)

IELTS Testing Center Policies

Cancellation Policy for Confirmed Applications
1. Cancellation more than 5 weeks (35 days) before the test date - You will receive a partial refund. An administrative fee of $50.00 will be retained by the Testing Office for cancellations made more than five weeks before the test date.
2. Cancellation fewer than 5 weeks ahead of the test date - NO refund will be issued. Failure to appear for the test without notification is considered a cancellation, NO refund will be issued, and you must re-apply if you wish to take the Exam on another date.

Change Policy

1. Changing Test Date at originally requested center. A request to change your test date at your original center must be made more than 5 weeks prior to the elected test date and you must pay an additional $50.00 administrative fee.
2. Changing Test Location more than five weeks prior to test date. A request to change your test location more than 5 weeks prior to the elected test date will be treated like a cancellation and you will ONLY receive a partial refund. A $50.00 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund. You must submit a full, new test application to the new center of your choice.
3. Changes within 5 weeks of test date. Candidates who wish to make a change fewer than 5 weeks prior to the elected test date will be treated as a cancellation must re-apply and will receive NO refund.

How do I cancel a registration?

You cannot cancel a registration online. To cancel a registration, you must contact:

How can I find out what courses I'm registered in?

To see a list of courses in which you are enrolled, visit the Registration History page then click the appropriate button:

  • Upcoming Courses - view a list of your upcoming courses with dates and location
  • Completed Courses - view a list of completed courses with the hours earned
